Maria
My name is Maria Gasser, and I am the fifth generation to run the Turmwirt.
After completing my training at hotel management school and traveling around the world, I decided in 2012 to take over my parents’ restaurant.
In our “jewel,” a warm and relaxed atmosphere is just as important to me as the quality of the food, friendliness, and tradition.
I became a mother to Pius in 2017 and to Rosa in 2018. This valuable experience as a parent also shapes my daily work, my positive thinking, and my empathy towards our fellow human beings.
Johanna
Johanna only intended to stay for one summer, but now she is in her second year with us. Her most beautiful accessory is her smile and her wonderful gift for recognizing guests and making them feel welcome.
Christine
Christine has been a pillar of our establishment for many years, whether in the kitchen or raising children. She is our specialist for homemade dumplings, Schlutzer, and bread.
Peter
Peter, our talented young chef, brings creative ideas to his cooking. He remains calm even in hectic situations. With his calm and professional demeanor, he is constantly trying out new dishes and continuing to develop his skills.
Talitha
Talitha, whom we discovered by a wonderful coincidence, supports us in the kitchen with a special focus on vegan and vegetarian dishes. She also helps out more and more often with service.
Abbas
Abbas is our fast all-rounder in the kitchen. Thanks to his diligence and flexibility, he has become indispensable to us.
Ferdinand
My father Ferdinand, the globetrotter, still steps in to run errands or help out wherever support is needed at short notice.
Over time, our different personalities, social skills, and professional expertise have developed into a dynamic team that is open to new ideas. We are constantly growing, see criticism as an opportunity to develop further, and appreciate compliments!
